Diane Mott Davidson is an American author that writes mystery novels. Diane’s mystery novels are unique because they heavily rely on food as a driving factor.

Born in 1949, Diane can trace her educational origins all the way back to Wellesley College where she studied political science alongside the likes of Hillary Clinton; though she eventually transferred to Stanford University where she got her degree.

This book introduces Goldy Schulz to readers, establishing her place in her small town and her relationship with the local police detectives. Despite having come out of an unhealthy relationship, Diane Mott Davidson misses out on a great opportunity to explore all the demons Goldy might be struggling with. However, Goldy seems perfectly fine in this book, not only mentally but emotionally.

Double Shot: Doctor John Richard Korman is free, his sentence having been commuted by the governor of Colorado. Goldy has nothing good to say about her ex-husband, especially when rumors about her begin to emerge soon after.

However, she cannot afford to worry about Richard, not when a murder is committed and all eyes turn to Goldy.

This book brings Goldy’s husband back onto the scene. The caterer is also targeted for death once more as some unexpected demons resurface.
