Eeny Meeny: The first book that Arlidge penned down was Eeny Meeny. Eeny Meeny proved to be a record-breaking introduction novel in the United Kingdom. The main protagonist in Eeny Meeny is one, Inspector Helen Grace. According to the author, M.J Arlidge, the inspiration for the book came from an exceedingly dangerous game in which the victims were expected to play along. What made the story exceedingly worse is when it came to deciding which victim was supposed to die first. The initial title for Eeny Meeny was supposed to be Nemesis. However, M.J Arlidge and his group of editors believed that the name was an exceedingly bad idea. Thus, an agent whom M.J Arlidge worked for brought the idea of the second title, Eeny Meeny. The name was accepted since it was much better than the initial name.

In Eeny Meeny, two people are not only kidnapped but also imprisoned. The two are left in possession of a gun. As time goes by, thirst and hunger strike in, thereby leaving an option that it is only one of these individuals who was going to walk out of the room alive. Eeny Meeny is an exceedingly complicated story. After speaking to the extremely devastated survivor, that was the time that Inspector Hellen Grace was able to not only picture the entire story but also believe it as well. Hellen, being a police detective was quite familiar with the exceedingly dark side of human beings including her own. However, this case is quite different since there are so many random victims who are involved.

The protagonist also gets to discover that the mysteries, which lie ahead, are what she is expected to be. Furthermore, as time goes by, more and more people go missing, she begins to make sense of what is happening. As the investigators track down the perpetrators, they do so while protecting the survivors as well. The exceedingly strange thing is that the monster keeps kidnapping people in a group of two.

Doll’s House: This is the other book that the author has written in the Hellen Grace Book series. Hellen Grace is a picks off from where the previous book had left off. A good example is when Ruby, wakes up in an exceedingly strange place, and the kidnapper informs her that there was no one who was interested to know where she was.
