Rebecca Zanetti is a Bestselling (USA Today and New York Time) author that writes novels in the paranormal and romance genres. Zanetti attended Pepperdine University from where she graduated with a Journalism degree.

She also attended the University of Idaho from where she acquired her Juris Doctorate. Her relationship with Tony Zanetti took a turn for the better when she married him during her second year of law school. She graduated three weeks before her first child was born.

For all the stress she encountered during the birth of her child, Zanetti still found the strength to take the Bar Exam less than a month after. She thought the testing room was eerily quiet, so much so that she was tempted to sleep, but she passed, all the same, beginning her journey as a lawyer.

Zanetti was an active student who worked as Editor-in-Chief at the Pepperdine University newspaper (The Graphic Newspaper). She also interned for President Reagan. Her years as an adult were filled with just as much activity.

She was fortunate to land positions at a large law firm, and then a smaller one. She also took a teaching gig at her local community college, not to mention working as a hearing examiner for Kootenai County in Idaho.

Rebecca Zanetti knew from a young age that she wanted to write. It wasn’t her only passion, which is why she eventually worked as a college professor and an aide. The author is always working to improve herself and she never truly knows where her interests will lead her. But she isn’t afraid to explore them.

That being said, writing was one of her stronger interests. She was just six years old when she wrote her first story. It chronicled the adventures of a princess who fell out of a castle and met a neighboring prince. Their ending was a happy one.

While the story was hardly Zanetti’s best work, it paved the foundation for a theme that she eventually pursued as a published author. Her novels are filled with dangerous alpha males and the women that have tamed them.

The author grew up in the Pacific Northwest. The scenery she observed as a child fueled her imagination, compelling her to weave fantastical stories filled with vampires, cowboys, and the like. Her first published novel was ‘Fated’.

The first manuscript she produced was a paranormal YA novel. She sat down to write it in 2009 in the wake of a blizzard. Her second novel was chick-lit. ‘Fated’ was her third story. She sold the vampire romance novel a year later after sending out a few queries.

Zanetti is a panster. She has tried plotting before but she prefers writing by the seat of her pants. She has no particular source of inspiration. Her ideas come from the world around her, the shows she watches, the people she interacts with, the commercials she stumbles across, etc.
