Terri Blackstock is an American Christian fiction novelist born on December 7th, 1957. She is popularly known for her several published novels of various genres ranging from Christian suspense/mystery to Christian romances. Over 6 million copies of Terri’s books have been sold globally with some of her books listed it to the New York Times bestseller and ECPA lists.

Terri has had over 30 years of success as a novelist, but her early life was more tumultuous. She was the child of an Air Force member so she spent the first twelve years of her life traveling. She spent four years of schooling in the Netherlands and lived in a total of nine states. This constant moving helped her in her future writing career as the constant moving didn’t allow her to become close friends with anyone, instead she often had to rely on her imagination. That imagination has carried her to over six million books sold worldwide.

The author used to write for novel publishers such as Silhouette, HarperCollins, and Harlequin by 1994. However, when spiritual awakening dawned on her, she turned her focus to the Christian market, and since then she has written over 30 Christian novels in addition to the thirty-two titles that she had written while writing of the secular market.

Apart from suspense novels, Terri has written some other books related to women fiction genre such as Covenant Child a book that was selected as one of the women faith books. Terri Blackstock most recent series is Intervention series which majorly focuses on adolescent drug abuse. The first book on the show is Intervention published in 2009, Vicious Cycle (2011) and Downfall (2012), with the first two books making it to the New York Times bestseller list.
