This is the section of our site which basically explains what BookSeries.org does when you visit the site.
Let’s break it down for you:
Personal Information and Tracking:
We use Google Analytics to track what you do on the site. This includes what pages you visit, how long you spend on each page, where you scroll to etc. Google Analytics also displays data about you such as what city you are from, what operating system you are using, if you’re on a cellphone or a computer etc.
We use these details to make the site better for you. If we see a page getting a lot of traffic we make sure to prioritize that page and make sure it’s always up to date. If we see an older web browser visiting the site such as Internet Explorer 6 (and we see that a lot!) we’ll make sure to download that browser, and use it on our site to test and make sure the site works fine in it.
We also offer the option to subscribe to our e-mail newsletter. This is completely opt-in and all we require is a first name and e-mail address.
Due to all of this our site may use website cookies from time to time.
This is put on your computer in a text file purely to keep records of your visit. Your web browser has the option to reject cookies being tracked. These cookies may be put in there to prevent you voting in a poll if you have already voted in it etc.
What We Do With Your Information:
Nothing. Other than use it to make our site better from a technical standpoint we don’t do anything with it. We don’t sell it, we don’t share it or anything like that. We have no idea who you are just because you’re visiting the site and we don’t collect anything like that.
Products / Services
No products or services are sold on the site. There is no mailing list, and we do not request nor store any user data.
Adsense:
We deliver ads to you via an ad network called Google Adsense. Google use DART Cookies and what these do is means google can serve ads to you based on your internet browsing experience. These do NOT track any personal information like name or address etc – you’re essentially an account number to them. If you use google to search for “Jack Reacher books” for example, there’s a strong likelihood you’ll be served ads displaying where to buy Jack Reacher books.

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This is the Amazon affiliate program and we can make commissions if we refer you to Amazon and you purchase an item. All of our book listings currently link to Amazon. This is a method we use to fund and support the website.
Privacy Policy Changes:
We reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any time. However when we do, we will make a note at the bottom of when it was last updated, as well as note any changes specifically.
