Some Day Soon # 1: This is the most famous book in the series. It is romantic in a subtle way and pulled many readers as they anxiously waited for the sequence novels that followed. Deliverance Company is a mercenary outfit started by Cain McClellan. Cain has no friends and no family, other than his associates at his Company. He isn’t in a hurry to settle down with a woman, he didn’t think it was necessary. Preferring to do his job instead, and perfectly good at it. He is a dangerous man who could track down anyone, including the government. His company deals with kidnappers and terrorists to keep citizens out of danger.
Linette Collins is a young widow, mourning the death of her dear husband of four years. She keeps busy with her work and is close to her in-laws. She has agreed to make an appearance at her sister in-law’s Christmas party. Here, she meets Cain.
